The Cricket Academy Facilities at the Hyderabad centre, located in the heart of Secunderabad builds on the legacy of the highly successful St.John’s Cricket Academy, which has helped shape the careers of many champions over the last thirty years. St.John’s Cricket Academy has produced many International and national cricketers such as the likes of V.V.S Laxman, Noel David, M.S.K Prasad and Tarun Nethula and many other Ranji, State cricketers who represented Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and South Zone.
Headed by former India and NCA Fielding coach R. Sridhar, a highly qualified team of 12 associate coaches, Strength and Conditioners, physiotherapists, and a performance analyst will be assisting them. Visiting consultants guide the budding youngster and the elite athlete in Mental skills, Sports Nutrition, and Yoga.
Fostering Excellence and Unleashing Potential
Well-maintained playfield consisting of eight high-quality turf wickets, an Astro-turf arena with four practice wickets, and four matting wickets for special skill training. The John Manoj Indoor Centre, named after the founder of St.John’s Academy, consisting of four practice lanes, is available 24 hours a day. A viewing gallery with State-of-the-Art technology to analyse sports skills biomechanically complements the practice area.
The Sports Science Block comprises a multisport turf for cross-training, a Sports Gym with strength and cardio training facilities, and a Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation room. A Post-training Recovery Centre is also attached, offering Hydrotherapy, Ice-baths, and Sports Massage. Multisport facilities are arranged at the far end of the playground to allow our trainees to play volleyball, shoot hoops or play a round of table tennis and chess to hone various motor and cognitive skills.
The Administration block houses our Education Wing consisting of a classroom for coach development and ancillary learning for players. It is also equipped with a Digital library of books on sports, coaching, and sports sciences besides other inspirational literature. A Proshop is housed on our campus that offers sports equipment, training aids, sports attire, and sportsbooks at discounted rates for our trainees.
